Our Nonprofit Commitment

The Center for NYC Neighborhoods is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We operate solely to advance public benefit by stabilizing neighborhoods and supporting sustainable homeownership.

Our organization was formed in 2008 in response to the foreclosure crisis, bringing together local community organizations, foundations, industry partners, and government representatives to address the urgent needs of communities facing displacement and financial hardship.

Today, we continue to serve as a vital resource, developing innovative solutions to housing challenges and advocating for policies that promote stable, thriving neighborhoods throughout New York City.
